Ian K Captures ("we," "us," "our") provides real estate photography, video, floor plan, and related media services in Chicago and the North/Northwest suburbs. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit iankcaptures.com or book a shoot, how we use it, and your rights around it.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, primarily when you book a shoot or reach out with a question:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Property address and shoot details (when scheduling a session)
• Any other details you choose to share in a message or booking note

We do not collect payment card information ourselves — any payment is handled through a separate provider named at the time of booking, and we do not store your full card details on our systems.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Schedule, confirm, and prepare for your shoot
• Communicate with you about your booking, including reminders and follow-ups
• Deliver your edited photos, video, or floor plans
• Respond to questions or requests you send us
• Send invoices and handle payment where applicable
• Improve our services and website

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for anything beyond running and improving this business.

Booking through Calendly

Shoots are scheduled through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. When you book a time, the name, email, and phone number you enter are collected and processed by Calendly on our behalf, in addition to being shared with us. Calendly's own handling of that data is governed by Calendly's Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review.

Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us run the business (for example, Calendly for scheduling, and a payment processor if you're invoiced)
• Law enforcement or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others

Cookies and tracking

iankcaptures.com does not currently run analytics, advertising pixels, or its own tracking cookies. If you interact with an embedded Calendly booking widget, Calendly may set cookies on its own domain under its own policy. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this section to reflect that.

Data retention

We keep booking and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, and meet tax and legal obligations, after which it's deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to tell you what we've collected. If you're a California resident, you have specific rights under California privacy law (including CalOPPA and, where applicable, the CCPA) to know what personal information is collected about you and to request its deletion. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

Our services are directed at real estate professionals and homeowners, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
